Homophobia, transphobia and discrimination on grounds of sexual orientation and gender identity : 2010 Update : Comparative Legal Analysis

This comparative report updates and complements the FRA study Homophobia and Discrimination on Grounds of Sexual Orientation in the EU Member States : part I - Legal Analysis (2008). This report provides an updated overview of trends and developments across the EU on legislation and legal practice addressing homophobia, transphobia and discrimination on grounds of sexual orientation and gender identity, to the extent that this has evolved since the 2008 report. With paragraphs: 4. "Family members" in free movement, family reunification and asylum, and 5. Asylum and subsidiary protection for LGBT people. This report is based on information current to the end of 2009, although more recent information up to June 2010 has been taken into account to the fullest extent possible.
