De 4e bijeenkomst van SocioCircles gaat over de rol van vakbonden in Nederland: hoe ze werken en waarom dat goed is voor de hele Nederlandse economie. 
Onze spreker is André Kramer, vakbondsbestuurder bij CNV (Christelijk Nationaal Vakverbond). 

Enkele onderwerpen die we bespreken:

The 4th meeting of SocioCircles will be about the role of labor unions in the Netherlands, how they operate, and why this is a good thing for the whole Dutch economy. 

Our speaker will be André Kramer, Union manager at CNV, Christian National Trade Union Federation, a Protestant Union adhering to a corporatist model. André spent 37 years of his career at ING, participated in CLA negotiation for ING, Rabobank, Achmea, ASN bank, Athora. 

Some of the topics we'll touch upon: 

• The famous Dutch “poldermodel”: What is it and what is the connection to labour unions 
• What are the most important employment conditions aside from salary? 
• What is the corporatist model that CNV uses, and what assumptions and values lay the foundation for this model, and how does it affect the Union's policy?
