Philosophy Workshop with Children 5+

What would happen if humans could communicate with animals and plants? Can there be a machine to measure our happiness? When do you stop being a child?

Each Saturday between 14:00 and 15:00, we think about, ask, and answer such questions together. Depending on the topic, we explore concepts such as friendship, time, nature, humanity, freedom, growing up and more. 

The sessions are organized by Sila, who is trained in facilitating philosophical discussions with children. She brings a story, picture, or video to start the conversation. Children engage with one another, listen to each other’s ideas, and agree or disagree thoughtfully. In the end, we practice thinking together with reasons. 

Age group: 5 to 8 years.
The discussions are held in English.

-Saturdays between 13:00 and 14:00, this workshop is available for children between 9 and 12 years old.
