Young people (up to and including age 25) without residency documents can get a free library pass. A library pass offers a lot of benefits:
- You can borrow books. The libraries offer books in all languages.
- You can read newspapers and magazines in many languages.
- You can use the free WiFi.
- You can use a computer (3 hours per day)
- Computers can be used for free courses, such as: Language courses in Dutch, Spanish or French, International leadership, the basics of marketing.
- You can take part in activities.
- You can practise your Dutch with other Amsterdam residents.
- You can use your library pass in all 28 OBA libraries across the city.
All services are free of charge.
